Enzoani

My amazing and talented friend Sasha invited me to the Enzoani runway show earlier this week and of course I went!

It was pretty amazing. The show was outdoors, we had wonderful seats, and the weather was great! I tried to take some decent photos to share, but they just do not do these dresses justice. They were absolutely beautiful!

Thanks Sash!

5 things I'd like to...

To find...

To make...

To buy...

To make my desk look like...

To dream about doing to my own home someday...

Every summer I create this mental list of all of the things I would like to do/get done.

Usually those things change. Haha. I can't help it, they just do.

For now, this is my list. I'll keep you updated on how that goes! :)

Film Photography

Dave and I love photography. In fact, we decided that when we get married our house will be filled with tons of our own photos. This is not because we think we are super great or anything (we definitely still have a lot to learn), but because we really just love the process!

Anyway, here are just a few photos from our last batch that we took with my Diana.

Pretty Little Cakes

I decided to bake a cake for a bridal shower last weekend. White was the main color and I did not want to fall into the typical vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. Thus, I found this absolutely delicious recipe for a banana cake! Instead of using the cream cheese frosting, I went for vanilla and sprinkled on white chocolate shavings that I made. I ventured to good ol' Martha Stewart for inspiration on something decorative to put on top and came across pine needles and pine cones. Brilliant for winter! Thanks Martha!

Something Sweet

Readers, I must share something amazing with you. Apple Cheddar Scones. Yep, they are delicious. I came across this recipe as I was loyally skimming through Smitten Kitchen's long list of tasty foods. As soon as I saw this recipe I jumped on it, and I've been hooked ever since. I encourage you to take a Sunday morning to relax, bake some warm scones, and snuggle in. After all, winter is the season for baking!

Theodora Vintage

I would like to introduce Theodora Vintage to you those of you who have yet to encounter this collection of adorable vintage clothes. My two darling friends, Sasha of Black n' Gold a la Mode, and Taryn of Style Phenomenon, have teamed up to create their own online vintage clothing store. They have such creative taste, and do an amazing job of adding modern flare to vintage pieces. Check out their shop on Etsy, stat. You will not be disappointed!

So fun! Check out the post here. And while you're at it, you should sneak over to her other amazing sites, Baby and Nesting. You will not be disappointed.

Wedding: Chloe & Mark

I discovered a lovely photographer by the name of Emily Johnston Anderson the other day. She recently posted this gorgeous wedding. I absolutely love the entire wedding shoot, but the very first photo of the bride has become my favorite. Way to go, EJA Photography! Check out her blog to see the rest!

Let me introduce you...

If you are unfamiliar with the store Oeuf, let me take a moment to enlighten you. They carry some of the most adorable and sweet children's furniture, clothing, goodies, etc. And, as if their goods aren't cute all on their own, Oeuf throws in a darling child in a fantastic surrounding, that just takes the cake. Why couldn't I have things like this growing up??

Anyway, Lauren, the other intern, and I have taken on the task of Grey's DIY projects. Super fun, I know. We created and shot this project. Go take a look, we hope to inspire you!
